2 - Project Manager ? Support and assist the head in all aspects of the project management processes, including procurement, involved in the construction of the projects within Panama region.
? Assist in the regular reviews of Project management process and procedures to further best practice and to ensure compliance with all relevant process procedure and legislation.
? Identify opportunities, develop solutions and implement changes to improve process, improve delivery, reduce cost and reduce cycle times for the projects.
? Develop, produce reports on the projects activities involved in the PDS program.
? Tracking of progress and compliance.
? Assist in the completion of the projects including the preparation of budgets and RFPs and schedules.
? Manage/ oversee with the General Contractor the review of all sub-contractor bids, costs, and expenditures to ensure conformance with project budget, identify options for value engineering and alternatives.
? Monitor project costs and maintain cost accounting records to provide a continual summary of all costs as they relate to budget.
? Responsible for gathering of information and compiling data for reports in regards to progress and status of the projects as required by the clients.
? Review and process final payments and lien documentation.
? Performs any other task assigned by the Supervisor.
? Support project executives on large complex projects and assignments.
? Proactively manage project-related issues on account or assignment.
? Develop scope and schedule for assigned projects.
? Conduct and document all weekly meetings.
? Coordinate and track all Vendor RFP?s. Maintain accurate and consistent electronic files and documentation.
? Coordinate activities of sub-contractors and relocation of technical functions.
? Interact and negotiate with contractors and subcontractors
? Prepare/update project status reports, process purchase orders and invoices, update tracking reports and maintain files for due diligence and financials.
? Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost effective manner.
? Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all PDS technology as required for assigned projects.
? Ensure accurate management of all accounts receivables to maintain a level not to exceed planned working capital charge as set by corporate finance and the Regional Operations Manager.
? Comply with all Jones Lang LaSalle policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice.
